Men move one square diagonally forward and crown on the far row; kings move both ways. Captures are compulsory and a multi-jump must be completed. The side without a move loses, and eighty quiet plies are a draw. The computer reads two, four or six plies ahead. Each game allows three undos and three hints, and using either caps a win at two stars; a game in progress resumes where you left it.
