Elowen's Missile Command guide
Stand with coastal commander Elowen and shoot down falling warheads to protect six cities. Interceptors launch from the battery at the bottom centre and burst where you aim, leaving a brief circular blast that destroys every warhead flying into it. The key is to aim not at where a warhead is now but at where it will be when your blast opens, across eight stages from Patrol to Last Stand.

How to play
- Pick a stage and start; warheads only begin to fall once you fire your first interceptor, so take a moment to read the screen first.
- Tap or click the sky to send an interceptor to that point. On a keyboard, move the crosshair with the arrow keys and fire with Space or Enter; on a gamepad, aim with the D-pad or stick and fire with A.
- Each blast grows, holds briefly and then shrinks, destroying any warhead it touches along the way. When warheads fall close together, catch them with a single shot.
- Every stage has 3 to 7 waves, and each new wave adds one more warhead. There is a short break between waves, and your remaining interceptors are shown on screen.
- A warhead that reaches the ground destroys the city it was aimed at. Lose all six cities and the stage is lost; finish the last wave with at least one city standing to clear it and unlock the next stage.
Strategy tips
- Scoring: 25 per interception, 60 per surviving city, 40 per wave survived, 5 for every interceptor left at the end of each wave, plus 150 for reaching the end of the stage.
- Stages 1 to 3 refill your interceptors every wave, but from stage 4, Splitters, only part of the stock comes back. Later on, wait until one shot can catch two or more warheads.
- The hexagonal splitting warheads from stage 4 break into three halfway down, each aimed at one of the three nearest cities. Take them out high, before they split.
- The long fast warheads that appear from stage 5, Streak, travel about 1.5 times faster than normal ones. Aim further ahead along their path than usual so they fly into the blast.
- Interceptors leave from the bottom centre, so shots to the high corners take longest to arrive. Fire a little earlier at warheads heading for the outer cities.
Common questions
How are stars awarded?
Stars require surviving the final wave. Keeping all six cities earns three stars, four or five earns two, and fewer earns one.
What happens when I run out of interceptors?
You simply cannot fire, and a notice appears. The wave ends once every remaining warhead has landed or been destroyed, and the next wave tops you up. From stage 4 the top-up is only partial, so ammo needs managing.
Do destroyed cities come back?
No. A city destroyed during a stage stays destroyed until the stage ends, and the number left standing feeds directly into your score and stars.
What happens if I switch to another app mid-wave?
Leaving the window or hiding the tab pauses the defence automatically and saves it on this device. When you return, the same wave is restored in a paused state so you can carry on.
