라라의 별핀 과녁 guide

Throw star pins into a spinning cookie target alongside Rara, the circus star-pin acrobat. A pin always lands at the bottom of the target, so you tap at the moment an empty spot rotates down. Land too close to another pin and it clinks off, ending the show at once; break all 25 targets to finish it.

How to play

  1. Pick a starting round on the start screen. Only round 1 is open at first, and each round has five targets.
  2. Tap anywhere or press Throw to send a pin into the bottom of the target. Keyboard: Space, Enter, ↑ or W. Gamepad: A.
  3. Keep sticking pins until Pins left reaches zero; the cookie breaks and the next target arrives. Each target needs 6 to 11 pins, and some start with purple pins already in place.
  4. Every fifth target is a boss that swings back and forth. Bosses need 8 to 12 pins but are worth 300 points.
  5. If a pin hits another pin the show ends there, and the result screen shows the target you reached and your score. Breaking the 25th target completes the show.

Strategy tips

  • Pins must sit at least 12 degrees apart around the rim. Later targets need more pins, so spread them evenly from the start instead of bunching them on one side.
  • Each pin is worth 10, each target 100 and each boss 300, and sticking a pin on a gold star at the rim adds 50. A star is worth five pins, but skip it if it sits too close to another pin.
  • From the middle of round 2, targets either surge and ease or alternate between slow and fast spins. Do not rush the fast phase; throw while it slows.
  • A boss spins more than a full turn before it reverses, so every spot passes the bottom on each sweep. Waiting for the reversal makes it easier to aim.
  • A tap made while a pin is in flight is queued once and fires as soon as the first pin lands. Mashing tends to put two pins side by side, which ends the show.

Common questions

How do I start from a later round?

Reaching the first target of a round once opens that round as a starting point. Getting to target 6, for example, lets you start from round 2 next time, and best scores are kept separately for each starting round.

Is the layout the same every time?

Each new show reshuffles where the purple pins and gold stars sit and which way the targets spin. The number of pins needed and the spin style are fixed by each target's position in the show.

Does a stuttering screen change where pins land?

The target's rotation and each landing are worked out from when you tapped and how much time has passed, not from frames. The same timing lands in the same spot at any refresh rate.

Can I continue after leaving the game?

Progress is saved whenever a pin sticks or a new target arrives. When you return, the stuck pins and your score are restored in a paused state.
