세린의 포켓 풀 guide

With pool champion Serin, pull back on the white ball, release to strike, and sink every numbered ball into the six pockets within each table's shot budget. Fifteen tables open in order, from First Cue with a single ball through little racks, bumper posts and a rail maze to the Master Run. Four of them use the number-run rule, where the lowest numbered ball must be hit first, so the order of contact matters as much as what you pocket.

How to play

  1. Pick an unlocked table. The table list shows its shot budget: five shots on the first table, thirteen on the last.
  2. Press near the white ball and drag away from the direction you want to send it, then release. A longer pull hits harder; releasing with almost no pull only changes the aim and does not shoot.
  3. The white dots trace the cue ball's path and first cushion bounce, and the yellow dots show where the struck ball will roll. You can fine-tune with the angle and power sliders and the Shoot button, or with ←→ (angle), ↑↓ (power) and Space (shoot).
  4. Every ball must stop before the next shot. If the cue ball drops into a pocket, it returns to its starting spot once everything stops, and that shot still counts as used.
  5. Pocket every numbered ball before the shots run out to clear the table and unlock the next one; if balls remain when shots hit zero, the table is lost. Gamepad: the stick aims, RT sets power, A shoots.

Strategy tips

  • Each pocketed ball scores 100, and a clear adds 50 for every shot left. Saving shots raises the score a lot even when you clear either way.
  • Finish at or under par for three stars, within par + 2 for two. The result screen shows the table's par, so aim for that number on your next try.
  • On number-run tables (6, 9, 12 and 15) the cue ball must touch the lowest numbered ball first. Check the Next ball readout at the top and set your angle to hit that ball before anything else.
  • Bumper posts bounce balls like cushions do. When the straight line is blocked, watch the first bounce in the white dots and look for a path off a post or rail.
  • The default aim for a new shot sits slightly off the target ball, so shooting it unchanged usually misses. Check that the yellow dots point at a pocket every time.

Common questions

Is there a penalty for pocketing the cue ball?

No points are taken, but the shot is spent. The cue ball returns to the table's starting spot once every ball stops, nudged sideways if another ball is sitting there.

What happens on a foul on a number-run table?

Hitting any ball other than the lowest number first, or hitting nothing, is a foul. Every ball pocketed on that shot goes back to its original spot, and the shot is still spent. If the lowest ball was touched first, any other numbered ball that drops still counts.

Precise aiming is hard on my phone.

Instead of dragging, set the angle with the slider and the ‹ › buttons (about 1.7 degrees per press) and the power slider (12 to 100%), then press Shoot so your finger never covers the table. When dragging, you can start a little away from the white ball and the pull still begins.
