Helia's Ricochet Tanks guide

Take mechanic Helia's tank into a one-on-one ricochet duel against her rival Velsa inside a maze. Shells bounce off the walls again and again, and a tank hit by even one shell loses the round. Every round deals a fresh maze, the first to win three rounds takes the stage, and the chance of your own shell coming back to hit you keeps every shot tense.

How to play

  1. Pick a stage and tap the field to roll out. Tap or drag on the field and Helia's tank drives there along the maze paths, or drive it directly with the arrows or WASD.
  2. Press and drag your own tank to aim: the dotted line shows the path through two bounces, and releasing fires. A short tap on your tank, the Fire button, Space or Enter shoot along the current aim, and Q·E rotate it.
  3. You can have up to three shells in the air, with a short gap between shots. A shell disappears after 7 bounces or 7 seconds.
  4. Once your shell has flown for 0.3 seconds it can hit you too, so move out of its path after firing. If you are hit, Velsa takes the round.
  5. Rounds last 45 seconds; running out of time or both tanks being hit at once is a draw. The first to 3 points wins the stage, with 3:0 earning three stars and 3:1 earning two.
  6. Clearing stage 4 opens the daily maze, which changes every day.

Strategy tips

  • When Velsa stops and draws a red dotted line, she fires along it about 0.35 seconds later. Step off the line the moment you see it.
  • A hit is worth 1,000 points plus 200 for every bounce the shell made first. If Velsa hits herself, the round is yours and worth 500.
  • From stage 4, whenever the maze has no item, a ×3 (triple shot) or S (shield) appears every 9 seconds. Velsa can grab them too, so take them first when they are close.
  • A shield blocks one hit and lasts 6 seconds. The moment you pick it up is the best time to push toward Velsa and attack.
  • At higher stages Velsa banks shots off up to three walls and dodges your shells more often. Do not linger in long straight corridors.

Common questions

Do drawn rounds count toward the round limit?

Yes. A match lasts at most 9 rounds, and if nobody reaches 3 points by then, whoever won more rounds wins; a tie counts as a loss.

How many times can I use the triple shot?

After pickup, only your next shot spreads three ways. Shots go back to single shells afterwards, so save it for an angle you are sure of.

Does the aiming line show the whole path?

The dotted line stops after two bounces. Real shells can bounce up to 7 times, so you have to judge the path beyond the second bounce yourself.

Can I continue a match after leaving?

The match is saved at the end of each round, and reopening the game resumes it from the next round with the score so far.
