여름의 신호등 도시 guide
With traffic controller Yeoreum, you flip the lights yourself and get each stage's set number of vehicles out of the city without a crash or a gridlock. Every crossing gives green to only one axis, vertical ↕ or horizontal ↔, and each press swaps it. Over twelve stages the map grows from one crossing to two side by side and then a 2×2 grid of four, while buses, ambulances and a rain shower join the traffic.

How to play
- Pick a stage and start; vehicles enter from both ends of each road. Stages 1 and 2 are lessons: they block unsafe flips and mark the crossing worth flipping now.
- Tap a crossing or press its signal button below (1–4 on the keyboard, or Space when there is only one crossing) to swap the green direction. A crossing you just flipped cannot flip again for 0.6 seconds.
- Vehicles facing red stop at the stop line, and any vehicle already past the line keeps going even if the light changes. Flip while a vehicle is inside the crossing and it can hit cross traffic, ending the run immediately.
- A stopped vehicle that waits too long honks. Honks are counted across the whole city, and the third one ends the run in a gridlock.
- When every scheduled vehicle has left the city, the stage is cleared and the next unlocks. From stage 3 you get three hints per run with the Hint button (H). On a gamepad, A, B, X and Y flip crossings 1 to 4.
Strategy tips
- Cars honk after about 14 seconds standing still and buses after 16, but ambulances honk after just 7. When an ambulance stops at a red light, open that side first.
- A vehicle will not enter a crossing, even on green, unless its full length fits on the far side. On multi-crossing stages, manage linked crossings together so a queue never backs up into the next one.
- If a green-side vehicle is rolling over the stop line, wait until it clears the crossing and flip right after. From stage 3 nothing stops you from making an unsafe flip.
- Each vehicle that gets through scores 100, minus 3 points for every second any vehicle spends waiting. No honks and an average wait of 2.5 seconds or less per vehicle earns three stars; at most one honk and an average of 5 seconds or less earns two.
- Using even one hint caps that run at two stars. In stage 11, Rain Shower, every vehicle drives at 80% of its usual speed, so crossings take longer to clear.
Common questions
Do the three honks have to come from one vehicle?
No. Honks from every vehicle in the city add up, and the run ends on the third. A waiting vehicle that starts moving again gradually sheds the wait it built up.
The light won't flip in the lesson stages.
Stages 1 and 2 refuse a flip while a green-side vehicle is inside the crossing or committed to entering it, and show a message saying so. Press again once that vehicle has passed.
What does a hint show?
It marks the crossing that can be flipped safely right now and has the most long-waiting vehicles on its red side. If there is no flip worth suggesting, it says so and the hint is not used up.
How many crossings and vehicles are there?
Stages 1–4 have one crossing, stages 5–8 have two, and stages 9–12 use a 2×2 grid of four. Traffic grows from 8 vehicles in the first stage to 40 in the last, Signal Master.
