아린의 페그 솔리테어 guide
Jump pegs across woodshop owner Arin's boards, removing each peg you jump over, until only one remains. There are ten boards: eight triangles with 15 or 21 holes and two English 33-hole crosses, each starting with a different empty hole. Every board has a winning sequence, so when you get stuck, undo and look for another route.

How to play
- Choose an open board from the board list. Only the first is open at the start; solving a board unlocks the next, which starts automatically a moment later.
- Pegs that can move glow. Press a peg, then a glowing empty hole: the peg jumps over its neighbour into that hole, and the jumped peg is removed.
- On triangles you can jump along rows and both diagonals; on the cross only across and up or down. There must be a peg right next to yours and an empty hole beyond it.
- Leave a single peg to solve the board. On '21 · home' and '33 · centre' the last peg must finish in the hole marked ◎.
- Z undoes one jump, H shows a hint and R resets the board. On a keyboard, arrow keys move between holes and Enter selects; on a gamepad, D-pad moves, A selects, B undoes, Y hints and Start pauses.
Strategy tips
- Pegs left on edges and corners have few neighbours to jump over and tend to end up stranded. Work the outer pegs inward early.
- A hint shows the next move of a prepared solution only while your jumps still follow it. Once you have strayed, it just shows any legal jump, so undo back first if you want a reliable hint.
- Undo is unlimited and free, but hints already spent stay spent even if you undo. If you want three stars, explore with undo instead of hints.
- On ◎ boards one peg is not enough. When three or four pegs remain, work backward from the jump that must land in the marked hole.
- A stuck board still scores by pegs left: two or fewer earns two stars and three earns one, so keep cutting pegs even when a solve is out of reach.
Common questions
How are score and stars decided?
A solve is 1,000 points and three stars. When no jumps remain, you lose 120 points per extra peg (minimum 100), and a single peg in the wrong hole on a ◎ board scores 800. Each hint costs 100 points, and using any caps you at two stars.
How many hints do I get?
Three per board. A hint highlights the peg to move and the hole it lands in, and restarting the board from the beginning refills them.
I have one peg left but it is not a solve.
On '21 · home' and '33 · centre' the last peg has to sit in the ◎ hole. Ending anywhere else leaves no jumps and counts as stuck, so undo the last few moves and reroute.
Will I lose the board if I leave?
The board is saved after every move, and when you come back it resumes paused from the last position. Your best score per board and unlocked boards are kept too.
