유리의 해와 달 퍼즐 guide
Fill every empty square of the grid with one of two smiling symbols, a sun or a moon, alongside astronomer Yuri. No three of the same may sit in a row, every row and column holds exactly half suns and half moons, and no two finished lines may be identical. Every board can be finished from its printed symbols by logic alone, so there is never a square you have to guess.

How to play
- Pick an open board size from the stage list: 6×6, 8×8 or 10×10. Only 6×6 is open at first, and completing a board unlocks the next size.
- Each tap on a blank square cycles it from empty to sun to moon. The symbols printed at the start are fixed and cannot be changed.
- On a keyboard, arrow keys move and Enter cycles; S places a sun, M a moon, and X or Backspace clears. On a gamepad, D-pad moves, A cycles, B clears, Y hints and Start pauses.
- Squares that break a rule are marked at once, and the counters above the board show filled, clashing and remaining squares.
- The board is complete when every square matches the answer, and a fresh board of the next size starts automatically a moment later. To play the same size again, pick it from the stage list in the pause menu.
Strategy tips
- Two of the same symbol side by side always have the opposite symbol at both ends. Start every board by finding these pairs and filling around them.
- In a pattern like sun, blank, sun, the gap must be a moon. After pairs, this is the clue you will use most.
- Once a line holds half of one symbol (three on a 6×6, five on a 10×10), every remaining blank in it is the other symbol. Recount the row and column after each move.
- Those three deductions finish every board on their own. Use the no-identical-lines rule to double-check lines that are nearly full.
- Each unused hint is worth 90 points at the end, so when stuck, recount the rows and columns you have not checked before reaching for a hint.
Common questions
How are score and stars calculated?
A completed board scores 300, plus 25 for each square that started empty, plus 90 for each unused hint. No hints earns three stars, one hint two stars, and two or more one star.
How do hints work?
You get three per board. A hint scans from the top-left and fills the first square that is still empty or differs from the answer, so it corrects a wrong symbol before anything else.
No squares are marked as clashing, but the board will not complete.
The clash marker only flags broken rules: three in a row, more than half of one symbol in a line, or identical lines. A square can obey the rules and still differ from the answer, so check whether one early guess is blocking your deductions elsewhere.
Does Restart give me a new board?
No. R or the restart button clears only your own symbols on the same board, and hints already spent stay spent. A new board comes from choosing a size in the stage list, and a board in progress is saved automatically so you can pick it up later.
