Harin's Meadow Minesweeper guide
A minesweeper game where you open covered meadow cells one at a time and use number clues to locate hidden puffball mushrooms. The first cell and its eight neighbours never hold a puffball, and every board is laid out so it can be solved from the numbers alone, without guessing. It runs from level 1, a 6×6 board with 4 puffballs, to level 12, a 9×13 board with 23, and stars depend on your time and whether you used hints.

How to play
- Pick a level, start, and tap any cell to make your first opening. The first cell is always a zero, so a wide area opens, and the clock starts from that tap.
- An open number counts the puffballs in the eight cells around it. Zeros open their neighbours automatically, so start reading along the numbered edge.
- Plant a flag on cells you are sure hide a puffball: long-press for about 0.4 seconds, right-click on PC, or switch the Open/Flag button to flag mode and tap.
- When a number has exactly that many flags around it, tap the number to open all its other neighbours at once. If any of those flags is wrong, a puffball opens and the run fails.
- Open every safe cell to clear the level. Opening a puffball ends the run and reveals every puffball and wrong flag; use Restart to try the same level again.
Strategy tips
- Compare the overlapping cells of two neighbouring numbers. Every board here can be solved by counting around single numbers and comparing overlapping pairs, so if you feel you must guess, there is a clue you have not used yet.
- The Puffballs counter at the top is the total minus the flags you have placed. A wrong flag throws that number off, so only flag cells you are certain of.
- Hint (H) makes one proven safe cell or puffball sparkle, three times per board. It cannot be used before your first opening, and any hint rules out ★★★.
- ★★★ needs a finish within par and ★★ within 1.8× par. Learning the flagged-number shortcut that opens several cells at once saves a lot of time.
- The score is 1,000 per star plus 10 per puffball and 5 for every second you finish under 1.8× par, so bigger boards are worth more.
Common questions
Can the first cell be a puffball?
No. The layout is fixed the moment you open your first cell, and that cell and its eight neighbours are always empty, so your first tap always opens open ground.
What does 'no guessing' mean?
Only layouts where the open numbers always prove the next safe cell or puffball are used. You will never face a coin-flip between two cells.
What is the Daily meadow?
A board for each date that opens after you clear level 4: 9×11 with 18 puffballs and a par of 2:50. On the same Korean calendar day, opening the same first cell gives everyone the same layout, and your best result of the day is kept.
Does it work in landscape or with a keyboard?
On short landscape screens the board is turned 90 degrees and the numbers stay the same. The keyboard uses the arrow keys to move, Enter or Space to open, F to flag and H for a hint; a gamepad uses A to open, X to flag, Y for a hint and Start to pause.
