메이의 마작 솔리테어 guide
Clear tea-house owner Mei's table of stacked mahjong tiles by matching identical pairs until none are left. The five boards grow from 40 to 84 tiles, with more tiles stacked on second and third layers. Every board is dealt with a solving order, but each face appears four times, so which two you match first can leave you stuck later.

How to play
- Choose an open board from the board list. Board 1 is open at the start; clearing a board unlocks the next, which starts automatically a moment later.
- You can only pick tiles with nothing on top and an open left or right side. Tiles you cannot pick are dimmed.
- Select a tile, then a free tile with the same face, and both disappear. Choosing a different face simply moves your selection to that tile.
- Z undoes the last pair, H highlights a pair you can clear right now, and S reshuffles the remaining tiles. On a keyboard, arrow keys move between free tiles and Enter selects; on a gamepad, D-pad and A select, B undoes, Y hints, X shuffles and Start pauses.
- Clear every tile to finish the board. If no free pair remains and your shuffles are used up, the board ends unfinished.
Strategy tips
- When all four tiles of a face are free at once, you can safely clear both pairs back to back. When only three are visible, match the one that is covering other tiles first.
- Prioritise tiles on upper layers and at the ends of long rows. The tiles they trap need to be released before you can find their partners.
- If the 'Pairs open' counter drops to 1 or 0, you are about to be stuck. Before shuffling, try undoing a few recent pairs and matching them differently.
- Pairs cleared before a shuffle can no longer be undone, so keep shuffles as a last resort.
- Three stars needs zero hints and shuffles combined; up to two still earns two stars. If you need help, keep it to one or two uses.
Common questions
How is the score calculated?
Each pair is worth 10 points and clearing the whole board adds 100. Every hint costs 5 points and every shuffle 20, and the score never drops below zero.
What do I do when it says there are no pairs?
If you have shuffles left, press S or the shuffle button to re-deal the faces of the remaining tiles. You get three per board, and the re-dealt layout is always solvable from that point. With no shuffles left and no pairs, the board ends.
How many hints can I use?
There is no limit, but each one costs 5 points and counts against your stars. A hint highlights one pair you can clear right now.
Can I close the game and continue later?
The pairs you cleared and any shuffles are saved automatically, so the same board comes back paused when you return. Best scores and unlocked boards are kept too.
