아이리스의 셋 파인더 guide
Find the one set among twelve cards with pattern designer Iris. Every card has four features, shape, colour, fill and count, and three cards form a set when each feature is either the same on all three or different on all three. Every board is checked across all 220 possible trios and dealt only if it holds exactly one set, so a board never has no answer or two.

How to play
- Pick the 6-board, 8-board or 10-board stage and twelve cards are laid out in three columns. Shapes are diamond, oval and square; colours pink, sky and amber; fills solid, striped and outline; counts one to three.
- Tap a card to pick it and tap again to drop it. The third pick is judged at once. You can also move with the arrow keys and pick with Enter or Space, or use the D-pad and A on a gamepad.
- A set moves you to the next board. Anything else costs one mistake and the game names the feature that had exactly two alike. Four mistakes end the stage.
- When stuck, press Hint (H). It drops any picked card that is not part of the answer and picks one of the three answer cards you have not chosen yet, up to three times per stage.
- Solve the stage's boards to clear it. You score 120 per board, 300 for clearing, 80 per unused mistake and 50 per unused hint, and the next stage unlocks.
Strategy tips
- Two cards decide the third. With one solid pink diamond and two striped sky diamonds, the only card that completes a set is three outlined amber diamonds, so all you need to ask is whether it is on the board.
- Anchor on one card and pair it with each of the other eleven in turn. Picturing the third card each pair needs and scanning for it is far quicker than comparing random trios.
- Use the feature named after a miss. If only one feature is named, the others already work, so the closest next try is to swap one of the three for a card that differs from it in that feature alone.
- Three stars require zero mistakes and zero hints. Up to three mistakes and hints combined still earns two stars, more than that earns one, so double-check rather than guess.
Common questions
How do the time challenge and practice differ?
The time challenge gives you 90 seconds to find as many sets as you can, with no hints and five seconds lost per wrong trio. Each set is 100 points; seven or more earns two stars and twelve or more three. Practice has no limit on mistakes or hints and records nothing. Both are open from the start.
I cannot find a set on this board.
Every board holds exactly one. A trio fails if any feature has exactly two alike, so check easily missed features such as count and fill one at a time.
How do I unlock the next stage?
Clearing the 6-board stage opens the 8-board stage, and clearing that opens the 10-board stage. Ending a stage on four mistakes does not unlock the next one.
Can I continue after leaving?
The 6-, 8- and 10-board stages are saved on this device, so reopening the game resumes the same board, paused. The time challenge and practice are single-sitting modes and are not saved.
