슬기의 사이먼 랩 guide
In researcher Seulgi's lab, four coloured pads light up in order, each with its own tone, and you repeat the order from memory. Each round adds one more step and a single wrong press ends the run, so remembering colour and pitch together is what decides it. Eight stages open in order, from Warm-up through stages where you press the order backwards, up to Endless.

How to play
- Pick a stage and start, and the first light comes on. Input is locked while the lights play, so watch to the end.
- When the prompt changes to repeat, press the pads in the same order. On the keyboard, ↑ is green, ← red, → yellow and ↓ blue; on a gamepad, the same D-pad directions press the same pads.
- Get a round right and one more light is added to the end of the same order, which then replays from the start. The earlier steps never change for the rest of that run.
- Finish the stage's target round to clear it and unlock the next. Targets are Warm-up 6, Drill 10, Recall 14, Rapid 12, Reverse 8, Reverse Pro 12 and Master 20.
- On the reverse stages, press the order backwards, starting from the last light. The final Endless stage runs until your first miss, up to 32 rounds.
Strategy tips
- Each pad has its own pitch, with green highest and blue lowest. Once the order gets long, remembering it as a short tune is easier than remembering colours.
- The start of the order stays the same every round, so you only need to add the one new light at the end. Chunking it into groups of three or four cuts down on slips.
- In Rapid the lights pass about twice as fast as in Warm-up. Focus on the sound more than the screen, so a light you missed can still be recovered by ear.
- Each completed round scores by stage, from 10 points in Warm-up rising 5 per stage to 45 in Endless, and a clear adds 100.
- Even without reaching the target, getting at least halfway earns two stars and a third of the way earns one. In Endless, rounds 6, 12 and 20 earn one, two and three stars.
Common questions
How do I play the reverse stages?
If the lights went green, red, blue, press blue, red, green. The input prompt also changes to ask you to press it backwards.
What happens when I pause?
Any presses you made in that round are cleared, and on resume the round's order plays again from the start. Progress is saved on the device round by round, so closing and reopening the window picks up from the last round.
Does the same order ever come back?
A new order is generated every time you start, so you cannot memorise a previous run's order.
When does Endless unlock?
Each stage unlocks once you clear the one before it, and Endless opens after you clear Master's 20 rounds.
