나래의 워드 커런트 guide
Find the six theme words hidden in a 6×6 sea of letters with ocean guide Narae, tracing each one in a single straight drag. Twelve themes, Sea, Sky, Food, Animals, Music, Garden, Space, City, Weather, Sports, Fruit and Home, each come as an English round and a Korean round, for 24 rounds in all. The word list is visible from the start, but the leftover cells are filled with random letters, so you have to actually spot each word rather than work by elimination.

How to play
- On the English screen you start at round 1 in English; on the Korean screen, at the first Korean round (round 2). Each language's first round shows the first word as a numbered path for free, so drag once from step 1 to the last number.
- Drag in a straight line from a word's first letter to its last, in any of eight directions, and release to submit. Words may run backwards. In Korean rounds each cell holds one syllable.
- Tracing a listed word marks it found and adds to your score. Submitting a word that is not on the list, or one you already found, adds a mistake.
- Find all six words to complete the round; six mistakes end the attempt, and you can retry the same round. Rounds open in number order, with English and Korean rounds alternating.
- On a keyboard, arrow keys move between cells and Enter or Space picks the start and then the end. H gives a hint, C or Backspace cancels and P or Esc pauses. On a gamepad, the D-pad or stick moves, A picks endpoints, X hints, B cancels and Start pauses.
Strategy tips
- Selecting a single letter, drawing a bent line or releasing outside the board only cancels the trace, with no mistake. If you are unsure mid-drag, pull off the board to cancel.
- Each word scores its length × 20 plus a bonus of max(0, 40 − mistakes × 4). Words found before any mistakes earn the full bonus, so lock in the obvious ones first.
- Long words cover more of the board, are easier to spot and score more. In English rounds, go for six-letter words like PLANET, NOODLE or VIOLIN first.
- You get three hints per round and they never cost points. A hint numbers the path of one remaining word, so use one freely when mistakes are piling up.
- If a word starts with a rare letter, find that letter on the board first and check all eight directions around it. In Korean rounds, a first syllable with a final consonant makes a good anchor.
Common questions
When does a mistake count?
Only when a straight line of two or more letters spells a word that is not on the list, or one you already found. A single letter, a bent line or releasing outside the board just cancels the trace. Six mistakes end the attempt at that round.
Do hints cost anything?
No. You can use three per round and they do not reduce your score. The guided first word in each language's opening round does not use a hint either.
Can I play rounds in the other language?
Yes. Any unlocked round can be chosen from the round list regardless of the screen language. The 24 rounds alternate between English and Korean.
What happens if I reload mid-round?
Unlocked rounds and your best score per round are saved, but the round in progress starts over. If you have found most of the words, finish the round before leaving.
