Work out a hidden English word one letter at a time with detective Danbi and her otter assistant. Every wrong letter dims one of six lanterns, and a sixth miss ends the round. On the Korean screen the hint shows the word's category and its Korean meaning, which also makes it handy spelling practice.

How to play
- Pick a word length from the tier list: 4–5 letters, 6–7 letters or 8+ letters. Only the first tier is open at the start.
- Tap the letter buttons or type A–Z directly on a keyboard. You can also move between buttons with the arrow keys and press Enter, or use the gamepad D-pad and A, with Start to pause.
- If the letter is in the word, every position holding it opens and turns green. If not, it turns red and a lantern goes out.
- Open every letter to solve the word. A solve unlocks the next length tier, and a word from that tier starts automatically a moment later.
- If you run out of chances the answer is revealed. Starting again gives a new word from the same tier.
Strategy tips
- Open with the most common English letters: vowels like E, A, O and I, and consonants like T, R, S and N. They are the most likely to reveal several squares at once.
- Read the category (fruit, animal, job and so on) first and think of candidate words before you pick letters. Spelling out a guess in your head saves misses.
- Many words repeat a letter. When one guess opens several squares, use the remaining blanks and their positions to narrow down the word's shape.
- Each chance you still have is worth 15 points, so when unsure, choose letters that fit the blank pattern rather than guessing at random.
- Longer words add 5 points per letter to a solve. Once the first tier is behind you, the 8+ letter tier is where the highest scores are.
Common questions
How are score and stars worked out?
A solve scores 100 plus 15 per remaining chance plus 5 per letter in the word. A failed round scores only 5 per opened square. One miss or fewer earns three stars, three or fewer two stars, and more than that one star.
Does pressing a letter I already used cost a chance?
No. A repeated letter just shows 'Already guessed' and is never counted as a miss.
Will the same word keep coming back?
The three tiers hold 150 words between them, and words that appeared recently during this visit are skipped. On the English screen the hint shows the category and the letter count instead of the Korean meaning.
Is a word in progress saved?
The current word and your guesses are saved automatically, so reopening the game resumes the same word paused. Best scores per tier and unlocked tiers are kept as well.
